Day 1: Guided Fes Sightseeing Tour with Local Guide

Your 6 Days Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech begins with a fascinating guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s most authentic imperial cities. After pick-up from your hotel or riad, meet your professional bilingual local guide and dive into the rich history of this UNESCO-listed medina.
Explore iconic landmarks such as the Andalusian Mosque, the famous tanneries, Al-Attarine Madrasa, Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, Zaouia Moulay Idriss, Nejjarine Museum, the impressive Royal Palace, and the vibrant Bab Boujloud Gate. Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou Cedar Forest – Midelt (205 km)

Today is dedicated to discovering the magic of the Sahara. Set off on a 4x4 desert excursion to visit Khamlia Village, where you’ll experience traditional Gnawa music. Meet Berber nomad families, explore abandoned mines, and admire lush palm oases contrasting with the desert landscape.
After lunch and some rest in Merzouga, embark on a memorable camel trek across the dunes at sunset. Arrive at your desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, live music around the campfire, and an unforgettable night under the stars in a well-equipped Sahara camp.
Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Ouarzazate (367 km)

Wake early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, depart Merzouga and travel through the historic town of Rissani, former capital of the Tafilalt region. Continue toward the dramatic Todra Gorges, famous for their towering canyon walls.
