Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen (338 km)
Your unforgettable 7-day journey from Casablanca to Marrakech and the Sahara Desert begins with a warm welcome at your hotel or directly at Casablanca airport. Travel north through scenic landscapes, with a stop in Rabat to admire iconic landmarks such as Hassan Tower. Continue toward the Rif Mountains until you reach the magical blue city of Chefchaouen.
Upon arrival, check into a charming riad in the heart of the medina and enjoy your first evening surrounded by the city’s serene blue ambiance.
Day 2: Free Day in Chefchaouen
Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore the enchanting streets of Chefchaouen at your own pace. Wander through blue-washed alleys, discover local handicrafts in the souks, relax at Outa El Hammam Square, or venture to the nearby Akchour Waterfalls for a refreshing nature escape. As the day winds down, return to your riad for a peaceful overnight stay.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes (277 km)
After breakfast, depart Chefchaouen toward Fes, stopping at the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its ancient mosaics. Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you’ll admire monuments such as Bab Mansour and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
Arrive in Fes in the evening and settle into a traditional riad inside the historic medina.
Day 4: Guided Sightseeing Tour of Fes
Discover the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco on a guided tour of Fes. Explore the UNESCO-listed medina with a knowledgeable local guide, visiting landmarks such as Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, Bou Inania Madrasa, the famous tanneries, and the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga (469 km)
Travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Continue to the cedar forests of Azrou Cedar Forest, home to Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, journey through the scenic Ziz Valley toward the Sahara.
Arrive in Merzouga, where a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi awaits. Enjoy sunset in the desert, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in a comfortable Sahara camp under the stars.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley (265 km)
